The Honorable Larry Kiker and his wife Paula are residents of the Town of Fort Myers Beach where they are owners of Lahaina Realty, originally established in 1966.
Prior to his election as County Commissioner, Commissioner KikerĀ served on Fort Myers Beach Town Council for a total of six years: Vice Mayor for one year and Mayor for five years.
After being elected to the Board of County Commissioners, he has served as Vice-Chairman and Chairman as well as for the Port Authority. The last two years he has chaired the Tourist Development Council and has been the liaison for Lee County Mayors. He is now serves on the Horizon Council and is Chair for WCIND.
Larry has a MBA from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts
Larry’s number one objective is to bring conservative money management to the county, specifically balancing the budget through a priority driven process. He strongly supports growth management as the main goal for Lee County.
