FORT MYERS, FL, Join us on April 30, 2015 from 9:00am-6:00pm (doors open at 8am) for the inaugural SWFL Sustainability Summit, Quality of Life for Today and Tomorrow, as we showcase environmentally sustainable practices for business owners and community leaders in Southwest Florida.

The event brings together all six Lee County mayors, including: Bonita Springs Mayor Ben Nelson, Sanibel Mayor Kevin Ruane, Cape Coral Mayor Marni Sawicki, Fort Myers Mayor Randy Henderson, Fort Myers Beach Mayor Anita Cereceda, and newly elected Village of Estero Mayor Nick Batos to take part in sharing and learning about what makes Southwest Florida’s businesses, environment, and schools sustainable.

The Summit is organized by Visaggio Community Consulting, in partnership with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Southwest Florida Community Foundation and will feature some of the best regional thought leaders, educators, and experts in sustainability, economic development, and education.

This event is open to the public and proceeds from funds raised from ticket sales, vendor registrations, and sponsorships will be donated to the Imaginarium Science Center in downtown Fort Myers to support science and technology education for youth. Anyone who brings a canned good for Harry Chapin, a gently used children’s book for Literacy Council Gulf Coast, and a bag to donate to Goodwill will receive a voucher for one box of FREE shredding from Goodwill Secure Shred!
